Questions tax firm owners ask us
Straight answers about how we work, what we report, how we handle compliance and who we are right for.
Working together
What do you need from us?
Access to your ad accounts and calendar, a 60-minute onboarding call, your qualification rules and fee ranges, approvals on creative, and a filming session for the scripts we write.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee for the build and management period, with ad spend paid by you directly to the platforms. We quote after the strategy call, once we understand your market and targets.
Is there a long contract?
Engagements start with a defined project period, then continue month to month.
Can you work alongside our in-house team?
Yes. Many firms keep intake or marketing staff. We plug into your CRM and calendar and share everything we learn.
How long until campaigns are live?
Most firms are live about two weeks after onboarding. Filming is the main dependency.
Do you work with firms outside the US?
No. We focus on US tax firms because the regulation, notices, seasons and platforms are specific to the US market.
Results and reporting
Do you guarantee results?
We never promise case outcomes, revenue or tax savings, and nobody advertising for your firm should. What we do put in writing is the appointment target for the engagement and what happens if we fall short of it.
What do you report on?
Spend, qualified consultations, cost per qualified consultation, show rate, signed clients from your CRM and the one decision we are making next.
Will you share other clients' results?
Not by name. We keep every client confidential. On a strategy call we can talk through anonymised examples relevant to your firm.
Who owns the accounts and data?
You do. Campaigns run in your ad account with your pixel. Every contact record and every piece of footage is yours, during and after our work together.
Compliance
How do you handle FTC and Circular 230 rules?
Every claim in every ad and page is written and reviewed against FTC deceptive advertising rules, Circular 230 advertising standards and your state's rules. You approve everything before it runs.
Which Meta ad category do tax firm ads use?
Ads promoting tax debt relief and similar financial services generally run under Meta's Financial Products and Services special ad category, required for US financial services advertisers since January 2025.
Do you collect sensitive data in forms?
No Social Security or account numbers. Where a return upload is used, it goes to your secure portal.
Fit
Who is a good fit?
Established US tax firms with a standard of work worth scaling: tax resolution firms, tax planning and advisory practices, and CPA firms growing advisory revenue. Clients range from small enrolled agent practices to some of the largest resolution firms in the country.
Is this lead buying?
Lead vendors often sell the same enquiry to several firms. Our enquiries come from campaigns run for your firm only, in your ad account, under your name. You build a brand and an audience, not just a list.
What if we already have an intake team?
Yes. Many larger firms keep intake in house. We route enquiries to your team, share scripts and data on what converts, and report through to retained case.
What about busy season?
Not unless you want it to. We usually reduce new-client campaigns from February to April and scale when your team has room.
